Application of inquiry methods in a research project about differential calculus! The project was divided into four phases. The work was carried out in the experimental department electro technician ICT.

First phase
In the first phase, students have researched on the Internet and asked for suitable materials. The leaders the team were selected based on of achievement in schools and personal inclination towards leadership. The leaders the teams have chosen their team members.
Each team was given its own theme to the class! On a Google drive each team had its own set of documents. Each team has put their materials on a Google drive. Each team was given a completely an unknown topics for research. Attended by teachers from other schools this class, within the framework of the so-called Renowned class.. I have used the presence of other teachers for the promotion of e Twinning portal. |
Second phase
The second phase was the preparation of the researched materials and their presentation in the Serbian language. Students from materials prepared presentation in Power Point. Each team was sent to the evaluation of its work to other teams in the assessment through Moodle advanced settings for adjustment tasks.
Renowned class we re-organized for other teachers. Pupils are exceptionally presented their work. Each team has assessed the presentation of the works of other teams. We are prepared checklist. The students were given scores on the basis of that assessment and evaluation of teachers. |
Third phase
The third phase was not visible for teachers. In the third stage, each team
has translated his presentation in English. Each team was preparing
for the presentation in English, checking specific mathematical terms.
In the third phase, the students agreed technical preparations and the
necessary equipment (Portable Wireless FM Transmitter Receiver
Lavalier Clip Microphone Mic Set Cordless Headset Microphone,
good speakers, camera). I have not checked none of their work,
but I was waiting for their presentation! Each team was fully independen
t in every stage of their work.
Fourth phase
Students in the fourth stage present their papers in English. Presentation was via the eTwinning portal and their Live service. Students are prepared technically all the space in the classroom.Each team was able to elect representatives who would work of exhibit. Three teams were selected, with all members present at a part of the work. All students who have presented their work to get the best grades. We've taken the opportunity to present other teachers eTwininng portal. On the other side were the colleagues from Macedonia, Prokuplje, Turkey ... Extremely successful class. Other teachers have publicly praising the students.
And finally an anecdote. One teacher said: "This material is extremely difficult to speak in Serbian language. And how hard it is to talk in English?!"
