Plastic world
Recycling has environmental, economic and social importance. May affect the ecological awareness of people, helping to prevent environmental pollution, conserves natural resources. The long period of decommissioning waste plasitkeod 100 of 1,000 years, the question arises whether it is necessary to plastics collected separately from other types of packaging waste, and how much can be successfully recycled. This primarily applies to PET packaging in which we buy mineral water, soft drinks, food products, oil, etc ...
Project Plastic world aims to issue plastic viewed from two different angles which are: 1. How are plastic bottles that are already around us we can use for other things? 2. Is it possible to make a plastic that will not pollute the environment? First part of the project
Plastic bottles are all around us. What can we do with them and that the environment is preserved? The question of what to do with plastic bottles becomes more intense after every heavy rain when the bridge on Toplica River that runs through the heart of Prokuplje become tight plastic bottles that water brings. Then, it is formed a huge plastic mount, and a cloud disappear overnight because the appearance of people who carry bags around all these bottles. The question to ask is: what can be done with the collected plastic bottles? 1. Students are assigned to paint pollution environment in which they live. 2. A group of students is given the task to investigate how a plastic bottle. Questions that are expected to receive an answer are: what is the PET packaging, what means recycling plastic, what is gained by recycling PET containers, the importance of recycling. 3. Information by them in the survey the students put on a joint document which Google has access to the teacher. He monitors and directs the activities and discussions of students. The information that the students raise can be updated, corrected, changed. Second part of the project
Is it possible to make a plastic that does not pollute the environment? The second part of the project includes research on new sources that do not endanger the environment. 1. Students are assigned to investigate: what is bioplastics, what is biodegradability, which materials are used to make bioplastics, whether bioplastics good solution, as it is better than plastic which which is made from oil, which direction to move research, whether production from renewable sources contributes to lower power consumption, which is an advantage of bioplastics and its use. 2. The information of which came survey asked students on the same Google access to a document which has a teacher. He monitors and directs the activities and discussions of students. students. The information that the students raise can be updated, corrected, changed. 3. Arrange data than that used to record the attachment, which will be presented to their peers and teachers. Students video Bioplastics and raw materials: 4. Students recording favor of making bioplastic at home. To do this, use: corn starch, vinegar, water and glycerin.
